SHA1<br><br>Board,<br>FYI & sorry to bother you again.<br><br>To manage the increasing number of Charter Members we intend to set up<br>a moderated mailing list. It will be used exclusively for contact<br>information management of the Charter Members. This will make it much<br>easier to notify Charter Members of upcoming elections and run the<br>elections themselves. It will be a moderated list so that we can<br>prevent mails with private information from becoming public. It will<br>automatically be part of the OSGeo backup (whereas up to now it is<br>only "archived" in a few mailboxes and maybe some spreadsheets).<br><br>We can then simply ask Charter Members to hit reply to confirm that<br>their contact information is still valid.
