<p>I second Andreas nomination. He contributed a lot to uDig as well and lives the way of Free & Open Source. He made great contributions to uDig and involved community to put things into core libraries like GeoTools.<br>

In addition he always see the user perspective which is a worth skill for a broader acceptence of open source software</p>
