It is my pleasure to nominate Mayumi Kubo<br>
(<a href="http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Mayumi" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Mayumi</a>), from Japan, as an OSGeo Charter<br>
Member.  Mayumi is a force in the OSGeo-Japan chapter, and is a current<br>
member of its Board.  She helps organize the yearly FOSS4G-Hokkaido<br>
event in her home region of Sapporo.  She also develops training courses<br>
for QGIS and GRASS.  Mayumi is also very well known for helping develop<br>
the "Sapporo Childcare Map" for parents to locate day-care centers,<br>
through the Code For Sapporo project.<br>
<br>
Mayumi is a very active leader, full of life and energy, so please<br>
welcome her as a Charter member of OSGeo.<br>
