This was a convenient and useful way for us to provide OSGeo things like a booth, and free passes which are sponsor privileges.</font></li></ol><div><font face="tahoma, sans-serif">Obviously, this is OSGeo's call and we will do what the Board wishes, but this is neither new (you were on the website as a Gold Sponsor as soon as the sponsor page went up), nor unplanned and was conveyed to OSGeo in our proposal 20 months ago.
