It is my pleasure to nominate Nikos Lambrinos (Greece) as  OSGeo Charter Member.  Nikos is a Professor of Geography Teaching and Director of Digital Analysis and Educational Design Laboratory at the Faculty of Education , School of Primary Education, Dept.

 of Science and New Technologies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece.

Nikos has made huge contributions to OSGeo's  Geo For All initiative and leads our Schools Thematic  and actively helping  educators and students worldwide in expanding geoeducation opportunities for all. Nikos initiated and is the Chief Editor of  the GeoForAll 

 monthly newsletters [1] , which has now established as one of the most powerful outreach instruments that we have to spread OSGeo and Open  philosophy ideas in  Geoeducation to new users every month. He also setup a amazing team of editors who are all contributing

 to make this possible by their tireless volunteer efforts. <br>
