It is my great pleasure to nominate Niroshan Bandara [1]<br>
as a new OSGeo Charter Member.<br>
<br>
He is a young researcher who has shown dedication and commitment<br>
to the OSGeo mission. He exclusively FOSS4G tools for his research and<br>
has contributed to ZOO-WPS and MapMint projects. He is one of the founders<br>
of the OSGeo-SL (SL-Sri Lanka) community. He actively participates<br>
in FOSS4G-Events in Asia and Europe, not only as a presenter but also<br>
conducts workshops on WPS, Mobile-GIS and Open Hardware<br>
<br>
He is participating in GSoC projects since 2016 and contributing his time<br>
and effort to improve FOSS4G tools.<br>
<br>
His enthusiasm in spreading the use of OSGeo software<br>
makes him an excellent choice for being an OSGeo Charter Member.<br>
<br>
I have obtained consent form Niroshan before filing his nomination.<br>
