I would like to nominate Mikel Maron as a Charter Member of OSGeo<br>
<br>
Mikel has been a long time collaborator and contributor to Open Source<br>
and Open Data geospatial projects including being one of the earliest<br>
contributors to OpenStreetMap and providing leadership throughout its<br>
history. He currently leads the Community Team at Mapbox and was<br>
formerly a Presidential Innovation Fellow at the US State Department<br>
helping to drive OpenStreetMap adoption across federal agencies. He is<br>
co-founder of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, co-founder of Map<br>
Kibera and GroundTruth Initiative and current Board member of the<br>
OpenStreetMap Foundation.<br>
