<div>Dear colleagues,<br></div><div><br></div><div>On behalf of the Local Organising Committee and the Scientific Committee of FOSS4G Europe 2025, happening in Mostar on 14-20 July 2025, I am happy to announce that the Call for Papers for the Academic Track is now open!<br></div><div><br></div><div>Following an established tradition, the <span>Academic</span> <span>Track</span> is co-organised by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS). The <span>call</span> for <span>papers</span>, including instructions for submission, is available at <a href="https://2025.europe.foss4g.org/call-for-proposals/academic-program/" target="_blank">https://2025.europe.foss4g.org/call-for-proposals/academic-program</a>. We 
invite original research contributions addressing any topic or
domain connected to free and open source geospatial software.

Deadline for submissions is <b>3 March 2025</b>. <br></div><div><br></div><div>The process is composed of multiple steps:</div><div>1) First, authors submit an abstract of 800-1000 words by 3 March 2025.</div><div>2) The Scientific Committee reviews the abstract, which can be accepted as a regular oral presentation or as a poster/lighting talk.</div><div>3) If the abstract is accepted, authors have to submit a full paper before 17 May 2025.</div><div><br></div><div>The <span>papers</span> will be published in the ISPRS Archives (<a href="https://www.isprs.org/publications/archives.aspx" target="_blank">https://www.isprs.org/publications/archives.aspx</a>), which are listed in the ISI Conference Proceedings Citation 
Index (CPCI) of the Web of Science, SCOPUS, the E/I Compendex, and the
