<br type="attribution">I'd like to get started on the 2012 Annual Report soon, so we can have<br>
it published in the journal by the end of March.<br>

This is a request for chapters, software projects, and committees to<br>
submit their annual report items for 2012. I'd like to get these as<br>
soon as possible, and definitely by the end of January.<br>

I'll round up the California Annual Report Item, the Incubation<br>
Committee Report Item, and the Incubation Labs report item. I've<br>
already signed up an interview for this volume.<br>

I do still need a case study for the upcoming volume. Please let me<br>
know if you can help me with a short article on a case study about the<br>
application of open source geospatial software.<br>

We can also include a project spotlight if there is a software project<br>
team willing to help.<br>
