book, but I can still help coordinate the Free GIS Book. I think some of the
content from my Mapping Math book could be suitable for the Free GIS Book. (One
of the first chapters in the Mapping Math book will be “Modeling With
Maps”. It might be a good candidate. The chapter on measurements might be
