<div>Hi Paul,</div> <div> </div> <div> I think this a great proposal! On the side, I am working with a HS science teacher on visually displaying data that he is collecting on coyote movements. His HS students help him with his research but due to a lack of time, he nor I have been unable to find an easy way to integrate GIS into the classroom and have the kids themselves map the data that they collected. I've only just started checking out opensource mapping programs. He's very interested in finding a cheap program that he can use in the classroom that kids can use too. </div> <div> I am a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts and have access to ArcGIS. At the moment, I've been mapping his coyotes and then send him images of the new plots. I haven't looked at Google Earth at all simply due to a lack of time to spend on it. Have you, or anyone else played with it enough to recommend
it as a functionally reliable tool to import UTM points and view the plots? </div> <div> </div> <div>Thanks and good luck!</div> <div>Maili Page </div> <div> </div> <div><B><I>edu_discuss-request@lists.osgeo.org</I></B> wrote:</div> <BLOCKQUOTE class=replbq style="PADDING-LEFT: 5px; MARGIN-LEFT: 5px; BORDER-LEFT: #1010ff 2px solid">Send Edu_discuss mailing list submissions to<BR>edu_discuss@lists.osgeo.org<BR><BR>To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit<BR>http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/edu_discuss<BR>or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to<BR>edu_discuss-request@lists.osgeo.org<BR><BR>You can reach the person managing the list at<BR>edu_discuss-owner@lists.osgeo.org<BR><BR>When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific<BR>than "Re: Contents of Edu_discuss digest..."<BR><BR><BR>Today's Topics:<BR><BR>1.
