Felicitaciones Victor!<br><br>I seem to remember when we discussed translation of the book at FOSS4G 2008 that some English translation had already taken place - is that not the case or is it obsolete now?<br><br>I agree with Jorge's suggestion of Pootle. Have a look at <a href="http://translate.org.za">http://translate.org.za</a> which facilitates translation of software and GUIs into our 11 official languages. For the translation process, I would prefer something like Pootle, which<br>
is quite simple to install. Cameron's process is very "human dependent".<br>

Among other things, Pootle supports terminology, making it easier for<br>
several different people translate the same terms in the same manner.<br>
Pootle is also better for supporting several translations processes at<br>
the same time. Definitely, I would like start translating Free GIS book<br>
to Portuguese :-)<br>
