<span style="font-size:medium"><span style="font-family:Calibri">As more GIS educators contemplate offering their courses and academic programs online, they are faced with a slew of pedagogy and technology challenges.<span>  </span>In this presentation we will interview two professors from the University of Twente in the Netherlands who have successfully incorporated proven pedagogical strategies in their GIS courses.<span>  </span>The webinar will focus on the use of Learning Design principles for developing an effective eLearning GIS course.<span>  </span>We will feature an Open Source Web Mapping solution as the demonstration eLearning course.</span></span></p>
