In the above website, they mention that:

"you should NEVER build an RPM with the root user"

and I was wondering if before starting the building process I should
"undo" my previous

sudo rpm -i gdal-1.7.2-5_1.el5.elgis.src.rpm

or if this is not necessary. If so, how can I do that ?
