Same error with gdal-java installed.

At the start of this tutorial I deleted all i386 packages, can this cause
the problem now ?

Error: Missing Dependency: libogrjni.so.1 is needed by package
gdal-devel-1.8.0-4.el5.elgis.i386 (elgis)

For example I have only the 64bit version of the missing libraries.
# find / | grep libogrjni.so
/usr/lib64/libogrjni.so.1.15.0
/usr/lib64/libogrjni.so.1
