I do use those for some inhouse testing. For ELGIS, I would wait
for the final releases. AFAIK Sandro Furieri, the SpatiaLite
developer, is dedicating a good part of his time to these
packages, so this could happen soon.<br>

I tend to agree with Volker. No need to jump to Spatialite 3.0 yet.
The new features will surely be nice (reading Excel tables directly,
topology support) but it seems not ready yet. Even the current QGIS
extensions that work with spatialite 2.4.0 are not really bug-free
yet. So spatialite 3.0 can be left to simmer for some time, I think<br>
