trying to update the elgis files on my Centos 5.5 machine, but
I've run into a sysadmin issue I don't know how to resolve.
Here's the error message:<br>

gdal-1.8.0-4.el5.elgis.x86_64 from installed has depsolving
problems<br>

I know I've got to find a package with this xerces .27 library
in it, but how do I specify the package name? I've tried <br>

yum upgrade xerces<br>
<br>
and it said there was no matching package. I also went to the
xerces site, but they don't have RPMs. Can someone tell me what
I need to do to fix this?<br>
