would it much of a pain to also package 'spatialite-gis'?

It seems to me, there's no librasterlite in ELGIS. spatialite-gis
requires it. So we'd have to go for that first. With QGIS 1.8 out, I
think I'll update the spatialite packages in Fedora. Let's see if I can
introduce librasterlite too.

For me spatialite-gis is the lowest priority - it's just a simple
spatialite viewer. Having spatialite_gui updated to 1.5.0-stable
would be much more interesting, but the same problems lurking in the
dependency shadows. Both GUI programs also require libgaiagraphics.
I see that also on ubuntugis they have libspatialite, librasterlite
and the spatialite-bin packages (CLI tools) for the newest release,
but both GUI apps are *way* behind.
