HI,

Dirk and I discussed this issue yesterday after our meeting with
the Copernicus Support Office. I also think, that this is very in
our scope, but I see potential conflicts, if we name the booth
"OSgeo booth" and then there are companies exhibiting. The
question is, who decides on which company is allowed to be on
thebooth and which not? WOrst case would be, that pure proprietary
companies show up and want to hiere a desk on the booth.

We had a similar experience with InterGEO, where we had the "Open
SOurce Parc" and - maybe also because of lack of interest of
several Open Source companies (including terrestris ;-)),
exhibitors arised, that you never heard in the context of Open
Source and took a desk on this booth.

My proposal is to name it "Open Source Geospatial Booth" (or
whatever), but to have one OSgeo-desk on the booth.

Just m 2 cents.

In general: Agree totally with Jachym.
