SDF provider

Hi,
 
If I try to describe Sheboygan_CityLimits.sdf with sdf provider (R71),
provider is returning 0 for length for properties of type string  (
FdoDataPropertyDefintion::GetLength() returns 0 ).
 
This is valid?
