Hi Greg,

Another agenda topic: Discuss the request by Piet Bibber to submit his
new FDO provider for NEN1878, or maybe we should wait until they submit
a formal RFC?

Thanks,

Orest.

Meeting

One topic I would like to discuss regards the Release Cycle Road Map for
FDO.

I have had some informal discussions with the OSGeo MapGuide team as
well as representatives from Autodesk. It seems MapGuide has an
OpenSource release tentatively scheduled for November with a beta being
released in late October. Autodesk has a release of their Map product
scheduled for early next year with a yet to be determined alpha/beta
schedule.

My current thoughts are to release the current contents of the FDO trunk
as an FDO 3.3.0 alpha/beta in late October. This would be followed by an
official release of FDO (3.3.0) in November for MapGuide, and a patch
level release of FDO (3.3.1) early next year for Autodesk.

Thoughts and/or feedback? Are there other release requirements
originating from other clients of FDO?

Greg

Hi All,

I would like to have a FDO PSC meeting next Wednesday, October 24th. (Or
at another mutually convenient time) If you have agenda item topics that
you would like discussed at that meeting, please forward them to the
internals mailing list.

Greg
