Have you installed the MS C++ Runtime SP1?

If that doesn't work (after a reboot) run depends.exe on the PostGIS
provider DLL and see if it's having difficulties locating anything.

Finally, I wonder if there were changes in libpq.dll between the version
that Mateusz is using and the one you are.

Subject: [fdo-users] Unable to test PostGis provider

Hi all

i'm trying to test the new pre-release PostGis provider But i am not
able to do anything

In mapguide studio. when i try to create a new PostGis data connection
i have no connection properties.
There is nothing in the log file...

In Autodesk Map 2008, when i try the same thing i got:
Unable to create connection to provider 'OSGeo.PostGIS.3.2'
Unable to load the FDO Provider: This application has failed to start
because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the
application may fix this problem.

It seems that the postgis fdo dll is not loading

My configuration
Windows XP sp2
PostGresSql 8.2.4 with PostGis 1.2.1
Mapguide Opensource 1.2 RC1
MapGuide Studio 2008 beta 1
Autodesk Map 2008
FDO PostGIS provider, build 3171

Path to postgreSQL/bin is in the first directory in the PATH Environment
variable fdo dll are well copied in the fdo directory Provider.xml is
well configured

So i'm a bit stucked
I really like to test this provider
