[fdo-users] Newbe question

Hey Chris, go ahead and edit the wiki at will; it's a community thing... :)  I've actually found that's the hardest thing to figure out about this community.  You can just go ahead and start doing things.  There are some folks with particular ideas about what OSGeo should be doing, but they're typically pretty polite too.
 
Glad you and Jo have had some success with this...

I have also recently followed Jason's excellent instructions at http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Building_Mapguide_on_Ubuntu_7.10_Server and they worked almost perfectly for me too.

I did have a few issues later on in the build which I detailed on the discussion page in the Wiki, basically I needed to add the .fcgi handler into httpd.conf too.
