[fdo-users] ArcSDE provider: direct connection to PostgreSQL

Hello all,

Server:
-PostgreSQL 8.3
-ArcSDE 9.3
Client:
-FDO 3.5, ArcSDE provider, ArcSDE client library
-ConnectionString:
Server=;Instance=sde:postgresql:postgresql_server_ip;Username=username;Password=password;Datastore=sde_database_name;

When i try to open a direct connection to PostgreSQL with ArcSDE provider, i
get this error message:

Version info for '1' could not be retrieved

Any ideas?
