[FOSS4G-Oceania] Fwd: use of FOSS4G SotM Oceania logo

Thanks for the extended & constructive discussion here. It's easy to just
give a flat 'no', but yes, these people are upstanding community members,
and have come to us in good faith with a fairly innocent request.

If we can find a way to be permissive, by articulating guidelines for logo
usage, it feels much more in keeping with our community's ethos around
sharing and collaboration.

Can we work on this? What if we gave an answer like:

"We're happy for you to use the FOSS4G SotM Oceania logo. Please make sure
that your usage doesn't cause confusion as to the origin of whatever the
logo is placed on, and doesn't imply endorsement or approval."


Any suggestions on how to improve this? If we get some words down, we can
split it out into a motion for a vote, for clarity (since there is a bit of
disagreement in this thread).
