<div dir="ltr"><div>For convenience, the link to Adam's doc is <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/17n-p7QY7MBan9heiYev6i6EyXLkHVRps3Y1kgyT3gjg/edit#">here</a>. I've put down a couple of comments in the doc re: criteria etc.</div><div><br></div>Re: accom, I'd suggest we stay out of being directly involved in shared accommodation arrangements, but could point to the discuss list for attendees to make their own sharing arrangements (good idea Martin). If we just provide a modest $ amount for accommodation assistance, people will be incentivised to seek their own ways to find cheaper accom.<div><br></div><div>On the amount we're offering... perhaps we have a 2 tier approach, where tier 1 is close to the full amount required (including flight, accom, conf ticket, and visa), and tier 2 is more of a subsidy (free ticket and a few hundred dollars). Could potentially add a 3rd tier which is just a ticket. In any case, if we have specific tiers on the table we have a little more to discuss (dollar amounts, # of grantees).</div><div><br></div><div>Hey Alex - we should get back into budgeting mode, tally up likely sponsorships & sales, and figure out how much we can likely allocate to the TGP.</div><div><br></div><div>
