<div>Help from others would be very welcome here. The doc David
has started is a great place to familiarise yourself with the
state of Community Day planning, and to make your suggestions
& contributions as it comes together. The planning &
execution can probably be roughly split into 3 or so
components (possibly other ways to look at it, this is just
off the top of my head):</div>

<ul>
<li>communications & engagement - media, PR, website,
etc</li>
<li>process - how we handle activity proposals &
encourage participation</li>
<li>logistics - rooms, signage, catering, etc etc.</li>
</ul>
<div>David, Andrew, Daniel, and I have already had a
discussion about it, and the work is underway - but I
encourage anyone with an interest in making this day a
success to put their hand in. I think it'll be a lot of fun,
pretty casual, and a great way to engage the community.</div>
