<p>I think this document reflects our style and our needs at this
point in time. Having spent decades within communities, I've seen
communities grow in both positive and negative ways. The original
guidelines sometimes hinder the future state of affairs. I think
we should be mindful of that, and be ready to adapt and change as
we mature.</p>

govern ourselves going forward, and the future of this

clearly spells out a functional structure and an
implementation plan without being overly prescriptive,

document as a guide for the formation of OSGeo
Oceania, and as a Terms of Reference for a new

position to move to the next step, which would be
forming a new committee responsible for directing and
managing OSGeo Oceania.</div>
