<div>Once things are up and running, I'm keen to put forward a motion to form an OpenStreetMap committee under OSGeo Oceania tasked with supporting the OpenStreetMap project within the region.<br></div>

<div><div>I’d be happy to join the board as a regular member; and/or nominate as chair or co-chair. I don’t have a great election pitch - I am also on the ‘board’ (steering committee) of another organisation undergoing the same process right now (earth observation Australia), which might be helpful experience - and it’s super exciting to be helping embody the culture of this community in a thing, and want to help get the foundations sorted. Having said that, my ego isn’t attached to any of it, so if there’s a better candidate then all is fine and I’m less busy :D<br></div>
