    <p>+1 for process suggested by John.</p>
    <p>I will contribute toward board discussions while I think I'm
      adding value. I've held multiple positions within OSGeo in the
      past, and think it appropriate for me to make space for others to
      shine, (and also be realistic about the time I can commit). I'm
      not the right person for one of the central board roles, but happy
      to hover around the edges.</p>

              and/or nominate as chair or co-chair. I don’t have a great
              election pitch - I am also on the ‘board’ (steering
              committee) of another organisation undergoing the same
              process right now (earth observation Australia), which
              might be helpful experience - and it’s super exciting to
              be helping embody the culture of this community in a
              thing, and want to help get the foundations sorted. Having
              said that, my ego isn’t attached to any of it, so if
              there’s a better candidate then all is fine and I’m less
              busy :D
