He appreciates the kind invitation but he has cut back his international travel considerably this year so he can focus on Ubuntu and unfortunately has no current plans to visit Australia this year.<br>

I understand that Mark Shuttleworth was keen but couldn't schedule speaking at the 2008 conference for Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G) which was held in Johannesburg.<br>
<br>
The conference is the annual, international "gathering of tribes" of all the Open Source Geospatial projects which attracts ~ 700 hackers and spatial managers.<br>

This year will be held in Sydney, Australia between 20-23 October 2009, and we would be delighted if Mark would consider providing a keynote presentation.<br>
