Arnulf,<br><br>Brian Timoney is taking the lead on this, he's done some similar introductory sessions locally before. We have been working on getting the wording agreed (there have been several emails on the LOC about this) and will be publicizing it more shortly. We have approached several people to talk in this session already and will review the abstracts for other good candidates.<br>

Thanks for pointing me here, this looks really great. Well done. Are we<br>actively advertizing this? This will be an attractive aspect of the<br>conference for FOSS newbies.<br><br>It is not clear to me yet who is going to give the talks in this session<br>
and how it is going to be organized? Do you plan to choose talks from<br>the general submission list to fill this program? It seems like I<br>completely missed the planning around this thread?! Let me know if I can<br>be of help.<br>
