I also handed over that MailChimp account info to Till Adams. It’s the most comprehensive and biggest list that you can use. </span><br><span></span><br><span>Also we’ve paid much attention to Facebook and Twitter. I still believe that Facebook is one of the most efficient way to reach out to newcomers who don’t know much about FOSS4G. There are lots of people who willingly share FOSS4G 2016 news with friends at Facebook. Twitter is nice, however I’m not sure whether Twitter is effective way to reach out to newcomers. </span><br><span></span><br><span>I’d like to share Seoul team’s experiences here. </span><br><span></span><br><span>1. We tried to create buzz around FOSS4G and let the people know that, however small that might be. Small news was shared through FB or Twitter and bigger news was shared through main mailing lists. </span><br><span></span><br><span>2. We tried to be interactive especially when we used Facebook or Twitter. Social medias are interactive by nature!</span><br><span></span><br><span>3.
