Hello everyone,

I am really pleased with how the Code Sprint is coming along this year, I
think it will be a lot of fun and a great way to advance project goals. If
you have not been to a code sprint before, it's an informal gathering that
allows OSGeo projects to get together fase to face and try to take on some
project goals. The whole event is self organizing through the OSGeo wiki.

Couple of notes I wanted to share with everyone:

- LocationTech(LT) will be hosting a code sprint in conjunction with the
FOSS4G 2017 Code Sprint. The OSGeo and LT communities and projects are very
close and this is a great way to work together.
- LT will be sponsoring food
- Please update the wiki with your information ASAP, we would like to get a
head count for catering by the end of the week.
- I am interested in working on a local chapter/event sprint working with
those interested in community organizing. While not a specific project, it
feels like this could be a good use of the time.

For all the details and to participate with the code sprint, please use
this email list and update the wiki here:

See you all in a couple of weeks,

Guido
