 When using v2.6 QUERYMAPFEATURES for selections, the selection image
 doesn't get properly updated when extending the selection by shift-
 clicking additional features.

 Also the when extending selections:

  * Selection Panel doesn't get updated to show the attributes of the
 current set of all selected features.
  * Selection counter doesn't properly update.

 This only happens when native service support is detected and enabled.
 Using the existing PHP scripts doesn't produce this problem.
