Hi Bernhard, <br><br>To my knowledge none of the fusion widgets connect to any database. Are you asking how you would create a FUSION widget that would include some connection to this database?<br><br>All of the widgets would access your postgres layers through php_mapscript which in turn would call on mapserver to make the connection for it. <br>

My Fusion application reads the map information from a map file. (I am using MapServer 5.something.) The map file references a number of layers in a PostgreSQL/PostGIS database. In the map file, information on user, password, database, and host are given as follows:<br>

CONNECTION "user=%PHP_AUTH_USER% password=%PHP_AUTH_PW% dbname=%DB% host=localhost"<br>

Is there a way to pass the information to connect to the database to Fusion? Or should I use another way of referencing this information in the map file? Or is there a documentation on this issue that I missed?<br>
