I see a link to an article by Timothy H. Keitt on the GDAL website called "GDAL bindings into R": http://keittlab.bio.sunysb.edu/R/GDAL/ But it is inaccessible, at least at the moment. Does someone else have a local copy of his article? Is this website still running? Anyone else using R with GDAL for analysis. Tyler
