[Gdal-dev] RE: Kakadu, MMS

With lots of help from Frank, got it to work (yeah!)

had to:

a) rebuild everything with Tiff 3.6

b) use latest/greatest GDAL from CVS

but very well worth the effort - extracting a patch from a huge image in Kakadu only takes a few seconds.

I have a bunch of images that look fine in kdu_show, but when I try to make MMS images out of them with GDAL, am getting just blank images with the attached MMS  .map file; tried with and without the "EXTENTS" tag...

gdalinfo sees them just fine, and gdaltranslate works on them too...

hmmmm....comments/suggestions/?? welcomed...
