[Gdal-dev] GNU make build system update

folks,

i could try libtool support on a couple more targets:
cygwin -> only the static library are produced by libtool and i get a strange 
		warning about possibly unresolved symbols (?)
mingw -> same as cygwin
cross-compile for mingw from linux -> apparently same as mingw

any win32 guru can help me on those?

as far as i coulf test the internal version of libpng, libgif and libjpeg now 
work. i'm not sure if all version of GNU make will like the rule i used to 
make them work thou.

as of now, the only major piece of gdal not yet ported to the libtool build is 
the python module. i'll be working on that.
