[Gdal-dev] GDAL on WinCE?

Hi List!

I heard about GDAL today and I'm impressed. I tried to compile it on my 
WinXP (as described at the website) and it worked out of the box. So 
many many thanks to you all for this work!

Now my plan: I'm interested in using GDAL on Windows CE.NET (which is 
WinCE 4.x) and I wanted to ask if it is possible to compile it for 
WinCE. AFAIK this has never done before, correct? So what is needed to 
cross-compile GDAL on a WinXP machine for the target platform WinCE?

PS: I have installed Visual Studio and Windows CE Tools with all the 
header files for CE.NET.

PPS: If there is a lot to patch I'm willing to look at this.
