[Gdal-dev] Test building 1.2.0a on cygwin

I've grabbed the update and complete a problem-free compile.  I thought 
something was wrong when ld.exe had snatched up 91MB of RAM - but it 
played nice and gave it back after a few minutes.  I've tried a few of the 
ogr and gdal utilities and didn't have problems.  Python modules appeared 
okay and Postgresql compiled in good too.  I didn't build or test it in 
any applications though.

Environment: Windows 2000 SP4, Cygwin, P4 1500Mhz, 256MB RAM
