Thanks for your reply.

I found a freeware tool called PictView  (http://www.pictview.com/) to convert Intergraph RLE files (RGB, COT) and others to TIF, BMP, JPG etc.

I know it is a bit of topic for the GDAL list to 'promote' other software here but hopefully a nice addition for others too who bump into Intergraph raster files.

Sorry, but GDAL does not support the Intergraph Raster Format (often referred
to as Intergraph COT).  I do have decent docs for this, and I have implemented
a driver for some variants before when I was at PCI, but I haven't had much
call for it in recent years.
