[Gdal-dev] open source co-registration tools?

I am now successfully using gdal to manipulate HDF
aster data thanks to this list's excellent assistance.
Thank you all.

I now need to co-register my asters with a Landsat
dataset. Does anyone know of open source tools (maybe
gdal APIs?) that I could use to go about
co-registering the aster data set to the Landsat data?

We are using ITPfind and I thought that there must be
an alternative.
