[Gdal-dev] How does one remove Overviews?

This has come up a couple times for me..
I generated overviews in my files for OSG's  osgdem software and
  didn't like the results due to the black border bleeding into the
  final imagery.

Is there a program to remove the overviews and just leave the
  original data (in a geotiff)?
