[Gdal-dev] problem writing ecw (gdal in FWTools-1.0.5)

Hi Antoine,

I think it's not my problem.
The first reason is I've tried with the format option LARGE_OK=yes (I
have a license) and it doesn't work much better.
A second reason is I can produce ecw output when source is tiled geotiff
images.

I've tried to define more precisely the limit of the output image my WMS
is able to produce (with tiled ecw images as datasource). This limit is
2500 x 2500 pixels. With tiled geotiff images as datasource, this limit
is higher (2GB image output limitation due to my linux kernel option, I
think)
I've tried 1000x3000 images and it doesn't work neither. So I think that
if width or height is greater than 2500 pixels, the error message is
produced.

Thanks for your suggestion

Lionel
