Ken,

You might want to verify that "gdalinfo --formats" lists
ECW format.  Also, I believe there is a 3.3 release
candidate available that would be better than the 3.2
version.  Lastly, I have not tried ECW on a 64bit machine
yet.  That might be a step too far in this case. :-)
