Diego,

wxWindows is now wxWidgets (www.wxwidgets.org).

I worked it wxWindows a long time ago (1995 I guess) and it is great.

It is a good choice for portable C/C++ development and I am planning to
take a look in the latest version as soon as possible.

The drawing functions resembles a lot XWindows and the Motif Toolkit, it
probably has changed a lot. Do not mistake it with the Windows versions
of Motif. It's better.

The good news is that you can also use the Python extension and BOA, the
IDE.

Good luck,

Lucena

Subject: [Gdal-dev] GDAL and wxWidgets

Hi all,

I am starting to study gdal and I would like to get some help regarding
drawing images and vectors using wxwidgets library.

Does anybody have some experience regarding this? Where can I get
documentation about this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Diego Wald
