Jacolin,

Yes it is indeed very sensitive.

The problem with the floating point exception has something to do with
mixing two versions of PROJ.4 (an old one embedded in OGDI and the generally
used newer one).  The case sensitivity problem is somehow related to a time
when CD drivers on unix systems often used a variety of file naming
conventions (upper case, lower case and sometimes adding a period to
filenames with no extension).  I think the driver attempts to do some
uppercase/lowercase mapping but this can easily screw things up if applied
to path portions that are not on the CD.  Well - or something like that.
