[Gdal-dev] ECW JPEG 2000 SDK v3.3: final source distribution released

Dear GDAL users and developers,

ER Mapper is pleased to announce that v3.3 of the ECW JPEG 2000 SDK
now has a source distribution for Linux, Solaris, Windows and Mac OS X
ready and in public release.

A number of bugs have been fixed for this final v3.3 release, Visual
Studio 2005 build files have been refreshed, and the stability of the
non-win32 threading model has been improved significantly.

We hope this latest release will improve the experience of GDAL users
when processing the ECW and JPEG 2000 formats.  Please direct all
