[Gdal-dev] support for python 2.5.1

<http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/1379> was one issue that existed  
with the next-gen bindings and Python 2.5 that should now be cleaned  
up with 1.4.2.  I believe the old bindings should work without  
modification.
